Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business, seeks a senior leader for the F135 Sustainment Fleet Support & Services organization in East Hartford. You will oversee teams, develop tactical plans, ensure training and compliance, and coordinate with senior stakeholders to support US Navy/Marine Corps operations.

Required: 12+ years aerospace experience (or 10+ with advanced degree), extensive customer-relations and leadership experience, and eligibility for a Secret clearance. Travel 10–15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years aerospace experience, or 10+ years with advanced degree.
• 10+ years in customer relationship management and leading projects.
• 10+ years in formal communication and presentation.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Fleet Support & Services for US Navy/Marine Corps customers; lead teams and set plans.
• Manage multiple teams with Managers/Supervisors; align with Field Service objectives.
• Develop tactical/operational plans; allocate manpower across locations.
• Ensure training/qualifications for deployed teams.
• Support training and audits to maintain internal controls.
• Represent F135 Sustainment at customer meetings and site visits.
• Coach and mentor employees; address development and performance.
• Address escalated issues and present updates to executives.
• Travel approximately 10-15%.
