Job summary

RTX, Pratt & Whitney program planning leadership, is seeking a manager for Sustainment scheduling of F135. You will lead a team delivering Integrated Master Schedule analysis, risk assessment, and governance in support of government and company standards.

Role requires 8+ years’ experience in program planning with Primavera/MS Project/Open Plan and DoD scheduling; U.S. citizenship; onsite work in CT. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8+ years of experience or advanced degree with minimum 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient in logic-driven scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, Open Plan).
• Experience analyzing IMS quality (DCMA 14-point, DCMA DECM) and producing valid critical paths; apply root cause analysis to variance recovery.
• Knowledge in integrated cost/schedule techniques on programs.
• Experience developing talent and driving team performance; influence with program customers.
• Understanding of earned-value management and scheduling on complex DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of program schedulers and planners to provide quality scheduling support.
• Provide consulting to infuse scheduling best-practices into program plans.
• Foster collaboration with cost analysts to provide valuable analysis for decisions.
• Ensure quality planning and scheduling compliant with requirements and earned value policy.
• Ensure timely execution of contract deliverables such as the IPMR and schedule risk assessments.
• Create scheduling procedures and standard work; expand knowledge and training within the team.
