Job summary

RTX is seeking a qualified Engine Mechanic for Langley AFB to perform disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly of Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 engines on the 2nd shift. You will collaborate with Field Service Representatives, Engineering, and customers to deliver world-class maintenance.

The role requires an HS diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Onsite work at Langley AFB with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, assemble, and test Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 gas turbine engines and related technologies.
• Work with Field Service Representatives, Engineering, and customers to provide maintenance and support.
• Perform routine maintenance on engines, modules, and components; manage related waste per instructions.
• Maintain situational awareness and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced team environment.
• Be willing to work 2nd shift and participate in shift rotations as needed.
