Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks an Underwriter for Finance & Insurance (F&I) to support underwriting execution, risk evaluation, pricing analysis and portfolio monitoring.

You will work with the AWLS team, clients, agents and cross-functional partners to optimize risk decisions and ensure smooth quote, bind and issuance processes. The role requires F&I underwriting experience, strong Excel/data analysis skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in F&I, specialty insurance, or related lines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk, pricing and program structure for accounts within authority and guidelines.
• Document underwriting guidelines, pricing assumptions and portfolio initiatives with AWLS team.
• Analyze portfolio performance, loss trends and KPIs; propose corrective actions.
• Refer large or complex accounts to senior underwriting leadership with clear analysis.
• Support client relationships with underwriting analyses, documentation and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to align underwriting solutions with program needs.
• Participate in onboarding and knowledge-sharing to promote consistency.
• Support end-to-end underwriting lifecycle including quotes, binding and policy issuance.
