Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks an Underwriter in Finance & Insurance (F&I) to support underwriting, pricing analysis, and portfolio monitoring for a range of vehicle protection and service products.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and report to the VP of Underwriting in a dynamic, risk‑aware environment. The role emphasizes strong risk evaluation, data interpretation, and client collaboration, with responsibilities spanning quote development through post‑bind activities.

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in F&I or related lines.
• Ability to evaluate risk, interpret loss data, and make recommendations.
• Proficiency in documenting underwriting steps and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk selection, pricing, and program structure within authority.
• Support underwriting guidelines, pricing assumptions, and portfolio optimization.
• Analyze portfolio performance, loss trends, audits, and KPIs.
• Refer complex accounts to senior leadership with clear next steps.
• Provide timely underwriting analyses and resolve issues for clients and partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align underwriting solutions with program needs.
• Participate in onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Support end‑to‑end underwriting lifecycle from quotes to binding and post‑bind activity.
• Review portfolio reports and summarize insights for leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of F&I products, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Share observations to adapt underwriting approach and risk appetite.
