Job summary

The Surfing Fox, located in The Pierside Hotel in Santa Monica, is seeking an F&B Supervisor to help run daily operations with flair. You will assist the Restaurant Manager in all phases of restaurant operations and supervise staff to maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring servers, ensuring SOP adherence, and coordinating staff for events. Requires 1–2 years in a related role; high school education or equivalent. Competitive hourly wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• One to two years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of food and beverage management.
• Excellent oral communication for guest and staff interactions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers, runners and staff to ensure service standards and SOPs.
• Supervise guest service and respond to guest needs promptly.
• Assist manager with side-work, scheduling and daily briefings.
• Maintain cash bank balance and security.
• Review daily communications and plan coverage for shifts.
• Ensure cleanliness and setup of dining areas and stations.
• Communicate events and house counts to the restaurant manager.
• Assist with menu classes and taste panels.
