Job summary

The Surfing Fox at The Pierside Hotel in Santa Monica, CA is hiring an F&B Supervisor to assist the Restaurant Manager in all phases of operations. You will supervise staff, ensure service standards, and help plan events in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience in a supervisory role in food and beverage.
• Strong knowledge of service standards and SOPs.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers, runners, and staff to ensure service standards are met.
• Supervise guest service and respond to guests' needs promptly.
• Assist manager with assigning side-work and floor coverage.
• Maintain cash bank according to SOP and balance it daily.
• Review daily shift communications and prepare for the next shift.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas.
• Coordinate with the restaurant manager on events and house counts.
• Assist in menu classes and tasting panels.
