Job summary

Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach in Conway, SC seeks a hands-on Food & Beverage supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead lineups, and train staff. You will assist with scheduling, manage labor and inventory, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining safety and service standards.

The role requires ServSafe certification or progression toward it, a high school diploma, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

• Help oversee the day-to-day operations of our Food & Beverage outlets.
• Be actively involved during service and jump in wherever needed.
• Lead daily lineups and keep the team informed, motivated, and focused on great guest service.
• Train, coach, and support team members to help them succeed.
• Assist with employee scheduling and timekeeping.
• Help manage labor, inventory, and controllable expenses.
• Support Food & Beverage programs and initiatives designed to improve guest experiences and grow revenue.
• Assign and manage opening and closing side work.
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and complaints quickly and professionally.
• Help maintain cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Address employee performance concerns and assist with coaching or corrective action when necessary.
• Work closely with other departments to create a great overall experience for our guests.
• Solve problems, make decisions, and help keep the operation moving—even when things get busy!

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive, hands‑on leader who enjoys working with and motivating a team.
• Previous Food & Beverage, restaurant, bar, or hospitality supervisory experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Someone who can multitask, stay organized, and keep their cool in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of food, beverages, and responsible alcohol service.
• Experience with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office programs is helpful.
• ServSafe certification is required or must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 45 pounds.

Schedule:

This is a full‑time, year‑round position at Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach in Conway, SC. A flexible schedule is required, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
