Job summary

Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach is seeking an Assistant Coach – Food & Beverage to lead on the floor, train staff, and drive memorable guest experiences across our restaurant, bar, and private dining spaces.

You will coach a high-energy team, support scheduling and operations, maintain quality and safety standards, and help manage costs while upholding our brand culture. Nights, weekends, and holidays required; SC alcohol certification preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume F&B environment.
• SC Alcohol Server & ServSafe Manager certification required; applicants without certification but with ability to obtain will be considered.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays; ability to interact with families and kids.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop team members to deliver guest experiences.
• Support daily operations, staffing, and scheduling on the floor.
• Maintain food quality, safety, cleanliness, and brand standards.
• Assist with inventory, labor control, and P&L performance.
• Manage vendors and coordinate events/parties as needed.

What You Will Do

As our Assistant Coach – Food & Beverage, you will be a key leader on the floor to include training, motivating, and supporting the team while keeping operations running smoothly. You will help deliver top-tier guest experiences across our restaurant, bar, and private dining spaces while driving sales, controlling costs, and upholding our culture.

• Coaching and developing team members (this is a people-first role!)
• Supporting daily operations, staffing, and scheduling
• Maintaining food quality, safety, cleanliness, and brand standards
• Assisting with inventory, labor control, and P&L performance
• Helping manage vendors and special events/party rooms
• Jumping in wherever needed (expo, service, POS, etc.)
• Handling guest concerns with professionalism and positivity
• Ensuring liquor liability, safety, and compliance standards are met

What We are Looking For
