Job summary

Odawa Casino Resort in Michigan is seeking an F&B Service Staff member to provide upbeat service at bar, dining, or deli areas. You will prepare and pour drinks, serve food, and assist guests while upholding hospitality and safety standards.

You will leverage menu knowledge to upsell, maintain a clean, stocked area, and follow health codes. TIPS training and the ability to obtain a gaming license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in the service industry.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must complete TIPS training and certification within 30 days of employment or provide proof of current Certifications.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods.
• Must be flexible with shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• You may be required to pass a skills assessment test.
• Must be able to obtain a key gaming license per LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission.

Responsibilities

• Provides upbeat, positive, friendly service to guests at the bar/dining/deli area.
• Greets, serves, and takes orders for drinks and food with professionalism.
• Uses menu knowledge to upsell and suggestive sell.
• Keeps bar and service areas stocked, neat, and clean while following health codes.
• Monitors guest consumption per TIPS training and reports concerns.
• Attends required meetings and completes training satisfactorily.
• May work at other properties as needed.
• Performs all other duties within scope of position.
