Job summary

Little River Casino Resort in Michigan is seeking a beverage server to prepare and deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to F&B servers and guests, with POS entry responsibilities. This is a tipped position.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and adherence to safety and service standards. Applicants must have at least 3 months in guest services, pursue SERVSafe and Michigan TAM certifications within specified time frames, and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in a guest service-related work environment.
• Must obtain SERVSafe Certification within 90 days and maintain.
• Michigan TAM certification or must obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Experience with a Tribally run casino and/or resort preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greets and acknowledges guests upon arrival.
• Serves F&B Servers from start to finish, including educating, obtaining beverage orders, and delivering beverages promptly.
• Maintains and provides general knowledge of Little River Casino Resort events, promotions, programs, and service.
• Maintains general appearance of work area/service bar area.
• Performs all duties in accordance with Little River Casino Resort service standards and procedures.
• Requests proper comps, coupons, and monies for payment of alcoholic beverages.
• Must satisfactorily complete all training assigned by the Resort and the F&B department.
• Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Little River Casino Resort and the Food & Beverage department.
