Kewadin-Casino in Michigan is seeking a Bartender to welcome guests and serve drinks and food in a courteous, timely manner. You will follow policies, maintain bar stock, and ensure clean work areas while providing professional customer service.

Requirements include a High School diploma (preferred), prior bartending or food/service experience, and TIPS certification upon hire. Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a busy casino environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as bartender or in food/service preferred.
• TIPS training and certification required upon hire.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Mixes and serves guests drinks and food items.
• Follows all Kewadin policies and procedures including those that pertain to bar service.
• Prepares ready to eat foods in the bar/lounge.
• Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements to purchase alcohol.
• Ensures the bar is fully stocked and ready to serve guests.
• Cleans work and bar areas throughout the shift and ensures areas are clean and stocked for the next shift.
• Ensures no minors or intoxicated guests are served alcoholic beverages.
• Complies with TIPS guidelines for serving guests.
• Provides attentive, cheerful, courteous, and professional service to all customers.
• Rotates inventory to ensure the product sold is fresh.
• Preps and cuts all fruits/vegetables for garnishment per shift.
• Processes cash transactions and reconciles to the point-of-sale system.
• Completes Bar Server duties as needed.
• All other job-related duties as assigned.
