Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Purchasing and Receiving Supervisor in Teaneck, NJ to oversee all F&B purchasing, receiving, and storage activities. The role ensures inventory integrity, compliance with Avendra, and effective collaboration with the accounting team for month-end close.

The ideal candidate will lead the Clearsky system for daily operations, train new staff, and drive process improvements to lower costs while maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Food Handler Certification.
• 1+ years purchasing/receiving experience; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of hotel/restaurant industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all purchasing, receiving, and storage functions for all Food & Beverage products.
• Maintain 95% compliance with the Avendra program.
• Assist with month-end inventories and ensure accurate data capture.
• Communicate with Accounting to ensure smooth month-end processes.
• Lead Clearsky usage for day-to-day operations and training of new staff.
• Ensure proper use of ordering/receiving tools (Clearsky, Report Safe, Ascend).
• Develop and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement contracts to support hotel operations.
