Job summary

Loews Arlington Live! by Loews is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage leader to oversee outlet operations, staff planning, and service standards, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for guests.

You will support the Director of Food & Beverage, drive efficiency, and uphold Loews brand service excellence. The role requires a hospitality-focused manager with proven leadership, flexibility in scheduling, and a commitment to guest satisfaction across all outlets in a dynamic hotel

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Hospitality or Food Service management.
• Thorough knowledge of upscale food service operations.
• Two years of management experience in a hotel or quality food service operation.
• Certification as Food Service Manager or ability to obtain as required by regulations.
• Effective operating and control processes to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Strong management, leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Address guests by name at all times.
• Friendly, sincere, and professional demeanor to make guests feel valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outlet staffing levels for optimal performance.
• Represent the Director of Food & Beverage in its absence.
• Ensure adherence to guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Manage labor costs and inventory for cost efficiency and quality.
• Supervise outlet activities to ensure quality production/delivery.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction of dining experience.
• Prepare storeroom requisitions and manage budgetary guidance.
• Communicate daily with chefs about reservations and VIPs.
• Coach and develop departmental staff according to Loews standards.
• Participate in training and star service programs.
• Evaluate performance and plan training needs for advancement.
• Lead and coach employees to sustain high performance.
• Attend hotel meetings to stay informed on activities and promotions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assess guest needs and market conditions to drive improvements.
• Be on the restaurant floor during peak hours, coordinating with bar/room service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
