Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa in Florida is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily dining room operations, supervise service staff, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen teams, monitor financial performance, schedule staff, and uphold Omni standards and policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 4+ years in F&B leadership, and strong communication, flexibility, and cost-control skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent preferred.
• 4 years of experience in a previous Food & Beverage operations leadership role required.
• Previous Restaurant General Manager or Assistant General Manager Experience preferred
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Understanding of financial statements and labor productivity
• Excellent communication skills
• Physical Requirements: stand and walk for extended period; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum guest satisfaction in the dining room.
• Conduct daily pre-meal meetings with service staff.
• Supervise floor during operation and ensure service protocol is followed.
• Monitor guest experience timing and respond to complaints.
• Coordinate all dining room functions during service.
• Maintain staff schedules and ensure proper coverage across front and back of house.
• Contribute to profitability through cost control and upselling efforts.
• Ensure equipment and uniforms meet specifications and standards.
