Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Assistant F&B Manager to coordinate, supervise, and direct all aspects of the outlet’s operations while maintaining profitability and service quality. The role includes marketing ideas to promote business, reducing turnover, and meeting budgeted productivity and payroll goals.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hospitality or a related field, or a 4-year degree. You will ensure training, compliance with liquor laws, and exceptional guest service across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive hotel or related experience or a 4-year college degree.
• Ability to work long hours as needed.
• Medium work – lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Effective verbal and written communication with employees and guests.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Maintain professional appearance and service-oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the outlet.
• Supervise outlet personnel and respond to guest complaints promptly.
• Coordinate with other F&B managers and keep leadership informed.
• Prepare and submit required reports on wage progress, payroll, revenue and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health and sanitation regulations and SOPs.
• Lead staff training on SOPs and department standards.
