Job summary

The Quail is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, support staff performance, and maintain high service and quality standards at our prestigious Carmel hotel.

Responsibilities include managing shifts, directing front-line staff, and guiding F&B operations in line with the department’s strategic vision. Weekend/evening work and experience in hospitality are required; beverage knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as restaurant floor experience as supervisor or manager.
• Beverage knowledge is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of education, training, and experience.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide management support in the oversight of an assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality service to guests
• Plan, organize, control and direct front-line staff while ensuring the highest customer satisfaction
• Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department.
• Assist with the interview, selection, training, supervision, counselling, and disciplinary process of food and beverage management
