Job summary

The Quail in Carmel Valley, California, is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Food & Beverage Team. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support staff, and uphold high service and quality standards.

Two years of restaurant floor supervisory experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and willingness to work weekends/evenings/holidays are required. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

• Beverage knowledge is a plus.

Key Accountabilities

Provide management support in the oversight of an assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality service to guests

Plan, organize, control and direct front‑line staff while ensuring the highest customer satisfaction

Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department.

Assist with the interview, selection, training, supervision, counselling, and disciplinary process of food and beverage management

General Requirements

Minimum 2 years as restaurant floor experience as supervisor or manager

Beverage knowledge is a plus

Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of education, training, and experience

Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required

Salary: $68,640.00 - $72,000.00 per year DOE
