The Quail in Carmel Valley, California, is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day F&B operations, support staff performance, and uphold high service and quality standards.

The role offers a path to advance your career within a prestigious hotel environment, with weekends, evenings, and holidays required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Salary ranges from $68,640 to $72,000 per year, DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as restaurant floor supervisor or manager.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of education, training, and experience.
• Beverage knowledge is a plus.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide management support in the oversight of an assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality service to guests.
• Plan, organize, control and direct front-line staff while ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.
• Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department.
• Assist with the interview, selection, training, supervision, counselling, and disciplinary process of food and beverage management.
