Placements24 in East London hotel is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily F&B operations across restaurant, bar and room service. You will lead service staff, manage inventory, ensure service standards, and support the F&B Manager to deliver a memorable guest experience.

You will work on-site, with shifts including evenings and weekends, and have opportunities to contribute to menu promotions and revenue targets while cultivating a strong hospitality team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the Food & Beverage sector is required.
• Strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, including service standards and inventory control.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
• Located in or willing to relocate to East London.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily F&B operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, train, and motivate service staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure all service standards, hygiene, and safety regulations are met.
• Manage inventory of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Assist with menu implementation and promotion.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Oversee cash handling and POS system operations accurately.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all F&B areas.
• Contribute to achieving F&B revenue and cost targets.
