Job summary

Lone Star Court in Austin, TX, is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the Director of Food & Beverage in daily operations across restaurant, bar, and in-room dining. This exempt position requires leadership, a strong guest focus, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of F&B supervisory experience, relevant certifications, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of F&B supervisory experience.
• TABC and Food Handler certification.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage schedules and labor within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant, bar, and in-room dining operations and scheduling.
• Hire, onboard, train F&B team; provide coaching.
• Engage guests; resolve complaints and assist VIPs.
• Lead pre-shift briefings and mentor staff.
• Report nightly sales and incidents to the Director.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation compliance.
