Job summary

Lone Star Court in Austin, TX, is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the Director of Food & Beverage in daily operations across restaurant, bar, room service, and banquet functions.

This exempt role requires leadership, guest focus, and the ability to adapt to peak periods, evenings, and weekends. You will coach staff, manage schedules, enforce safety and service standards, and report performance to the director.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of food and beverage supervisory experience in a hotel or restaurant setting.
• TABC and Food Handler certification.
• Experience with POS and labor scheduling software.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations across restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and banquet outlets; monitor service standards and take part in scheduling and inventory matters.
• Supervise servers and bartenders during shifts; assist in hiring, onboarding, and training; provide coaching and feedback to staff.
• Engage with guests on the floor to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints; escalate to the Director of F&B as needed.
