Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to coordinate and supervise all F&B operations at a Paradise, NV property. The role focuses on maintaining profitability, quality, and service levels while marketing ideas to promote business.

The position requires 5+ years in hotel F&B or a related field, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets and payroll. It involves long hours and leadership across department teams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree with at least 2 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must be proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health dept rules and liquor laws.
• Long hours and physical endurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising all F&B personnel and revenue initiatives.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner and maintain service quality.
• Assist in preparing the F&B budget and monitor performance and forecasting.
• Coordinate and monitor all phases of Loss Prevention in the F&B department.
• Attend hotel meetings and trainings and support SOP compliance.
