Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the Freehand Los Angeles property, seeks a Restaurant General Manager to direct day-to-day operations for all restaurant outlets, room service, culinary, stewarding, beverage, banquet, and purchasing activities.

You will respond to guest trends, manage menus and promotions, and lead a team to ensure exceptional experiences while achieving financial goals. Strong leadership and hospitality law knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a related role in hospitality
• Hotel experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and hospitality law
• Experience with budgeting, planning, and cost control
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations for all restaurant outlets, room service, and banquet operations
• Respond to guest feedback to ensure quality experience and drive future sales
• Market outlets and manage menus, promotions, and presentations within guidelines
• Develop and manage department budgets; analyze labor and food costs to meet targets
• Ensure sanitation and compliance with safety regulations across F&B areas
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed
• Adhere to attendance policies and perform other duties as assigned
