Job summary

Inn at Hastings Park in Lexington, MA, a Relais & Châteaux property, seeks an organized hospitality professional to provide floor coverage at Town Meeting Bistro and support BOH teams, guest services, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include attending BEO meetings, editing and distributing menus, managing inquiries, and maintaining POS-related reports, with strong emphasis on guest engagement and service excellence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• College course work in related field helpful.
• Computer knowledge/skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide floor coverage in the Town Meeting Bistro and support the back of house culinary, stewarding and personal dining team as needed.
• Attend BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings to assist in planning and execution of banquet operations.
• Provide clerical support such as editing, printing and distributing menus and other materials, data entry and compiling reports from our POS system.
• Act as a host, utilizing our guest reservation system and warmly engaging with our guests to enhance the arrival, dining and departure experience.
• Answer telephone and email messages. Respond accordingly. Manage all incoming catering inquiries and distribute.
• Maintain and stay abreast of the latest computer programs/innovations (as applicable).
• Assist with catering event resumes and distribution
• Manage BEO distribution and event guarantees
• Filing of all pertinent correspondence in a timely manner.
