Job summary

Ascent Hospitality seeks a Food & Beverage Manager to lead service staff across restaurants, lounges/bars and catering events. You will ensure the highest level of guest service, while monitoring financial performance and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, staff training, coordinating with the Executive Chef and management, and driving beverage and food sales through effective upselling and promotions.

Qualifications

• Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certifications required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ management experience in hospitality.
• High School education required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages service aspects in all food and beverage areas and events.
• Oversees dining rooms, lounges, bars and catering events, ensuring proper setup.
• Hires, trains and manages staff in technical and non-technical aspects.
• Creates and distributes weekly staff schedules and communicates changes.
• Coordinates with service and kitchen teams regarding reservations and events.
• Leads pre-shift and pre-event briefings with staff.
• Monitors performance and addresses issues per company policies.
• Identifies sales opportunities to maximize F&B revenue.
