Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience in food service.
• Current ServSafe Certified Food Protection Manager certification required.

Responsibilities

• Teach F&B operations concepts including inventory and purchasing, menu engineering, labor scheduling, budget forecasting, and POS data analysis.
• Deliver instruction using case studies, workplace scenarios, applied management tools, and simulated operations projects for adult ELLs.
• Teach hospitality math concepts including food and beverage cost percentages, yield testing, labor cost analysis, and margin calculation.
• Guide students through FOH service standards, HR basics (coaching and scheduling), and food safety compliance.
• Deliver instruction aligned with the Culinary Arts curriculum and adapt materials for diverse learning needs.
• Prepare clear daily lesson plans with learning objectives and materials for supervisors.
