Job summary

Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass, TX seeks an F&B Assistant Manager to oversee the shift and ensure a pleasant dining and beverage experience for guests.

Responsibilities include supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, managing schedules, training, cash handling, and maintaining inventory and service standards. A background in restaurant or beverage operations and English communication are required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current TABC (seller/server) Certification.
• One (1) year experience in both restaurant and beverage operations, preferred.
• Experience in cash handling, preferred.
• Gaming industry experience, preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English both written and oral. Spanish or other language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the shift to create a pleasant dining and beverage experience and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and delegate responsibilities of front-of-house team members.
• Assist in performance reviews, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain cigarette vending inventory and assist with cash handling procedures.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards are followed.
• Balance cash tills and ensure proper closing procedures.
• Provide training and coverage for staff as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocking of venues and service stations.
