Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in New Orleans is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant to ensure welcoming service and high-quality buffet operations across breakfast and evening social venues. You will set up, serve, and break down buffet areas while engaging guests with Sonesta's service standards.

The role requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with emphasis on cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage experience preferred.
• Extended stay industry background preferred.
• Fluent English required; other languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to the Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Prepare and/or transport all food and beverage items and associated supplies, equipment, and materials to and from buffet areas.
• Monitor area to ensure adequate supplies of food, beverage, plates, utensils, napkins, etc. are available to serve all guests; replenish buffet items and areas as necessary.
• Follow preparation methods, times, quality and presentation standards.
• Proactively welcome guests and respond to requests in a prompt and professional manner.
