Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to lead hourly staff across The WP Café, Parlour Ice Cream, Event Catering and bar operations. The role emphasizes guest service, quality, and compliance, with evening and weekend shifts in a full-time, non-exempt capacity.

You will assist with scheduling, training, inventory, and payroll duties while upholding safety standards and exceptional guest experiences.

Formación

• Must have prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.
• Ability to handle administrative duties like inventory and payroll.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and support food and beverage team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure excellent guest service and promptly address guest questions, concerns, and complaints.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure service, food quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including shift reconciliation.
• Assign work responsibilities and provide direction, coaching, and on-the-job training.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and communicate operational needs to management.
• Monitor inventory, supplies, product waste, and equipment needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety standards.
• Lead by example and promote teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Assist management with special events, catering, promotions, and other operational activities.
• Complete required reports, checklists, and other administrative duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
