Washington Pavilion is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager in Sioux Falls to lead hourly staff, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support operations across The WP Café, Parlour Ice Cream, Event Catering, and on-site bar services.

The role requires hands-on leadership, scheduling support, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, with flexible evenings and weekend availability. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Formación

• Experience in food & beverage or hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and support team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure excellent guest service and promptly address questions and complaints.
• Monitor daily operations to maintain service, food quality, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and shift reconciliation.
• Assign tasks and provide coaching and on-the-job training.
• Maintain staffing levels and communicate needs to management.
• Monitor inventory and supplies, and manage equipment needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Help resolve employee issues and report to management.
• Lead by example and promote teamwork and a positive environment.
• Assist with events, catering, promotions, and other operational activities.
• Complete required reports and administrative duties.
