Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II to perform O-Level maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft at NAS Fort Worth. You’ll diagnose, repair, and verify systems, working independently on routine tasks and assisting senior mechanics on complex adjustments.

The role requires 4–5 years in aviation maintenance, knowledge of NAMP, and an active DoD Secret clearance or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four to five years of military or commercial aviation maintenance experience, with at least two years specializing in F/A-18 variants.
• Strong working knowledge of the NAMP (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2) and Navy Technical Publications.
• Must possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain base access immediately.
• High school diploma or equivalent; military aviation technical school training highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft, including engines, powerplants, airframes, flight controls, landing gear, fuel systems, and hydraulics.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic malfunctions using manuals, diagrams, and test gear.
• Remove, inspect, repair, and reinstall components ensuring proper fit and operation.
• Complete maintenance documentation in NALCOMIS/OOMA and logs.
• Adhere to TCP, FOD prevention, and hazardous material standards.
• Assist with flight line operations, aircraft handling, towing, jacking, and launch/recovery.
