Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II – Airframes to support O-Level maintenance for F/A-18 variants at NAS JRB Fort Worth. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft structures, hydraulics, and flight control systems on a mid-level technician basis.

Qualified candidates will have 4–5 years of aviation experience, NAMP familiarity, and a DoD Secret clearance. FAA A&P license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from AM A School or equivalent preferred.
• FAA A&P license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel system components including actuators, valves, pumps, brake assemblies, and landing gear mechanisms.
• Perform structural inspections and sheet metal repairs on aircraft skins, panels, fairings, and structural frames using riveting, forming, and cutting tools.
• Rig, adjust, and test primary and secondary flight control surfaces to ensure safe flight parameters.
• Log maintenance actions in military data systems (NALCOMIS/OOMA); ensure TCP, FOD prevention, and hazardous waste disposal compliance.
