Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II – Airframes to support organizational-level maintenance for F/A-18 variants at NAS JRB Fort Worth, Fort Worth, TX. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft structures, hydraulics, and flight control components while adhering to NAMP procedures.

Qualifications

• Four to five years of military or commercial aviation structures/airframes experience, with at least two years on F/A-18 variants or comparable platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of NAMP protocols (COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series) and aircraft structural repair methods.
• Proficiency with standard airframe sheet metal equipment and hydraulic testing equipment; ability to troubleshoot hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel system components on aircraft.
• Perform structural inspections and sheet metal/composite repairs on skins, panels, and frames.
• Rig, adjust, and test flight control surfaces to ensure safe flight parameters.
• Inspect, service, and bleed hydraulic systems within NAVAIR limits.
