Job summary

ACET, Inc. seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic III to support organizational-level maintenance for the F/A-18 variants at NAS JRB Fort Worth, Texas.

You will perform, supervise, and inspect complex maintenance while guiding junior mechanics to achieve mission readiness. As a senior technician and team lead, you will troubleshoot intricate system malfunctions, ensure compliance with NAVAIR instructions, and maintain safe-for-flight documentation, with DoD clearance requirements and a focus on

Qualifications

• Eight years of aviation maintenance experience (minimum).
• Experience with F/A-18 or comparable jet aircraft preferred.
• FAA A&P license is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, modifications, and repairs on airframes, systems, hydraulics, fuel, and landing gear.
• Lead maintenance team, supervise shifts, and train junior mechanics.
• Ensure compliance with NAVAIR/NAMP procedures and document maintenance actions.
