Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated in Fort Worth, TX, seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II to perform O-Level maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft assigned to NAS JRB Fort Worth.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, inspection, and component repair with strict adherence to NAMP, TCP, and safety standards. A DoD Secret clearance or eligibility is required; a high school diploma is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Four to five years of military or commercial aviation maintenance experience
• At least two years specializing in F/A-18 or similar tactical jet platforms
• Active DoD Secret security clearance or eligibility for base access
• High school diploma or equivalent; military aviation tech training preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on F/A-18 aircraft including engines, airframes, and flight controls
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using manuals and test gear
• Maintain documentation in military data systems (NALCOMIS/OOMA) and comply with safety protocols
