Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience performing aircraft structural inspection, repair, and modification within the Aircraft Mechanic II scope of work.
• F-15 structures experience strongly preferred.
• US Air Force training or AFSC 2A7X3 or equivalent training preferred.
• Must interpret orders, blueprints, and drawings and apply structural repair practices.
• FAA Airframe certificate desired but not required.

Aufgaben

• Perform F-15 maintenance, repair, modification, troubleshooting, and component replacement of moderate difficulty with emphasis on structures.
• Inspect/repair/modify aircraft structures per data, drawings, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies using technical documentation and determine repair requirements.
• Interpret publications and drawings to resolve maintenance problems.
• Support MEC, MWO, and ECOD activities.
• Lead complex maintenance tasks and provide guidance to technicians.
• Maintain logs and ensure tool control and FOD prevention.
