Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking experienced aircraft mechanics to support F-15 maintenance at bases in Mountain Home AFB, ID, or Seymour Johnson AFB, NC, with CONUS/OCONUS travel across the U.S. and overseas.

Ideal candidates have strong structural maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and modification experience to ensure mission readiness. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, inspections, and modifications, interpreting complex drawings and manuals, and guiding junior

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience performing aircraft structural inspection, repair, and modification within the Aircraft Mechanic II scope of work preferred.
F-15 structures experience is strongly preferred.
U.S. Air Force training (2A7X3) or equivalent training preferred, with ability to interpret technical orders and drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform F-15 aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, troubleshooting, and component replacement with emphasis on structures.
Inspect, maintain, repair, and modify structures and components per data, drawings, specs, and procedures.
Troubleshoot discrepancies using technical documentation and determine repair requirements.
Apply knowledge of aircraft systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Interpret technical publications, blueprints, and orders to resolve maintenance problems.
Support MEC, MWO, and ECOD activities and perform structural modifications as needed.
Lead complex maintenance tasks and provide guidance to junior technicians.
