Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II (F-15) Avionics/Electrician to support maintenance operations at Mountain Home AFB, ID and/or Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The role requires troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining aircraft electrical and avionics systems to ensure mission readiness.

Ideal candidates have F-15 avionics/electrical experience and can interpret technical data, diagrams, and manuals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in aircraft avionics/electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, wiring and modification.
F-15 avionics/electrical experience preferred.
Military or civilian avionics/electrical training like 2A3X4/2A6X6 preferred.
Ability to read and apply technical data and schematics.
DoD clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repair, modification, troubleshooting, and component replacement focusing on F-15 avionics and electrical systems.
Troubleshoot wiring, connectors, harnesses, and avionics using test equipment and manuals.
Interpret technical publications and schematics to resolve problems.
Lead complex maintenance tasks and guide lower-level technicians.
Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and records.
