Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation seeks experienced aircraft mechanics to support F-15 maintenance at Mountain Home AFB, ID, and/or Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. The role involves sheet-metal and structural repairs, inspections, and modifications with potential CONUS/OCONUS travel. Ideal candidates have F-15 sheet-metal or structural experience and U.S.

Air Force AFSC 2A7X3/2A7X1 training or equivalent, and must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience performing aircraft sheet-metal and structural maintenance, repair, and modification.
F-15 sheet-metal or structural experience strongly preferred.
U.S. Air Force AFSC 2A7X3 or 2A7X1 training or equivalent sheet-metal training preferred.
FAA Airframe certificate desired but not required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must hold a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform F-15 aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, troubleshooting, and component replacement with emphasis on sheet metal and structural systems.
Inspect, maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures using technical data and drawings.
Fabricate, fit, drill, rivet, and repair aircraft structures and components.
Interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical orders to resolve maintenance problems.
Support MEC/MWO/ECOD activities and related documentation.
