Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation seeks an Aircraft Mechanic II (F-15) Avionics/Electrician to support maintenance on F-15 avionics and electrical systems. The role includes troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications, with travel to bases in the U.S. and abroad as needed.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with aircraft wiring, schematics, and flight control systems, and may hold DoD clearance eligibility. High school diploma required; AFSC training or FAA/FCC credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in avionics/electrical maintenance on aircraft, preferably F-15.
• Prefer military or civilian avionics/electrical training (AFSC 2A3X4/2A6X6 or equivalent).
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting.
• DoD Secret clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, modification, troubleshooting on F-15 avionics/electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot wiring, harnesses, connectors with test equipment and data.
• Interpret technical data to resolve maintenance problems.
• Lead complex tasks and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Document maintenance actions in logs and records.
