Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation seeks experienced aircraft mechanics to support F-15 maintenance across CONUS and OCONUS locations. The role focuses on sheet metal and structural repair, modification, and inspection to ensure mission readiness.

Candidates should have strong ability to interpret blueprints and technical orders, plus a background in structural components and the use of standard tooling. Travel across US and overseas may be required and security considerations apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in aircraft sheet-metal and structural maintenance, repair, and modification (Aircraft Mechanic II scope).
• F-15 sheet-metal/structural experience preferred.
• AFSC 2A7X3/2A7X1 or equivalent training preferred.
• Ability to read and apply technical orders, blueprints, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform F-15 aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, and component replacement with emphasis on sheet metal and structural systems.
• Inspect, maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures using approved technical data and procedures.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication, drilling, riveting, and installation on aircraft structures.
• Apply knowledge of aircraft systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Interpret technical publications, drawings, and manuals to solve maintenance problems.
• Support MEC/MWO/ECOD activities and related tasks.
• Use tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, rivet equipment, and sheet metal equipment.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians as required.
• Document maintenance actions in logs and information systems.
