Qualifications

• Counsel patients on eyewear choices and lens options.
• Perform administrative tasks like calculating co-pays and reviewing insurance eligibility.
• Maintain attractive optical displays and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting spectacles with consideration of lifestyle and prescription.
• Calculate insurance co-pays based on eligibility.
• Enter orders accurately and ensure timely delivery through the lab workflow.
• Notify patients and schedule dispensing after orders are processed.
• Follow up with patients about adapting to eyewear and contacts.
• Perform adjustments and repairs of spectacle frames when needed.
• Address patient concerns about eyewear and provide care guidance.
• Maintain inventory for optical merchandise and lab supplies.
• Keep displays updated and monitor patient flow during appointments.
