America’s Best, part of National Vision, is hiring an Assistant Eyeglass Manager. Oversee eyeglass department operations, drive sales, and manage staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Sundays off in some locations, with responsibilities across scheduling, promotions, and reporting.

Role requires optical sales experience, leadership ability, and strong communication. Join a large retailer focused on affordable eye care and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience. Supervising experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written) for effective management of teams.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and continuously monitoring progress towards goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Optimize and oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Convey a commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensure all associates do the same.
• Ensure quality standards are met and review remakes to enforce policies.
• Communicate with management and Corporate Office and provide store reporting as required.
• Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and known by staff.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates and ensure daily tasks.
• Assist the General Manager with staffing forecasts and recruitment.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• Duties may vary to meet state license or credential requirements.
