Job summary

America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee store eyeglass operations and drive sales. You will lead a team of Opticians and sales associates, ensure policy compliance, and partner with management to meet performance goals.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with prior supervisory experience preferred. The role emphasizes customer service excellence, staff development, and effective communication with district and corporate teams to optimize

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong store operations knowledge and success standards.
• Excellent communication for managing teams.
• Customer service excellence and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Problem solving across varied scopes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Lead customer service emphasis and ensure staff excellence.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards and policies.
• Communicate with management and corporate offices; provide store reporting.
• Manage promotions, advertising and visual merchandising awareness.
• Supervise Opticians and sales associates; support day-to-day functions.
• Forecast staffing needs and participate in recruiting and retention.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
