Job summary

America's Best is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager in Los Angeles to oversee the eyeglass department, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service. You will supervise Opticians and sales associates, coordinate with store leadership, review promotions, and help with staffing and training while maintaining company policies.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for team management.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Experience solving problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure associates do the same.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards and policies.
• Communicate with management and corporate about store reporting.
• Ensure promotions and visual merchandising are in place and communicated.
• Supervise and motivate staff and manage day-to-day operations.
• Assist in forecasting staffing needs and recruiting quality staff.
• Motivate team to exceed performance standards.
