National Vision's America’s Best brand seeks an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to drive store performance and guest experience in Los Angeles. You will supervise Opticians and Sales associates, oversee eyeglass operations, and partner with the General Manager to forecast staffing and promotions.

The role emphasizes coaching, communication, financial oversight, and adherence to company policies while delivering high-quality eyewear and eye care at a single, affordable price.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish reading and speaking ability required.
• Optical sales experience with supervisory exposure preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for team management.
• Strong organizational skills for planning work and tracking progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems across tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure associates do the same.
• Review quality and remakes to enforce standards and policies.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office.
• Ensure promotions, advertising and visual merchandising are current and implemented.
• Supervise Opticians and CL Sales associates and support staff.
• Assist with forecasting staffing, recruiting and retaining a high-caliber team.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
