America’s Best in Longview, TX seeks an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to drive store performance, lead optical staff, and ensure superb customer experiences. You’ll oversee the eyeglass department, manage promotions, and report metrics to leadership, with Sundays off when the store is closed, while Friday–Sunday availability is required in some locations.

Qualifikationen

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Optical sales experience, supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and monitor progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities across varied scope.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (review the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure associates do the same.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards.
• Communicate with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide store reporting as required.
• Ensure store promotions and visual merchandising are in place; inform staff and doctors.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and Sales associates; ensure day-to-day tasks are completed.
• Assist the General Manager with staffing forecasts, recruitment and retention.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
