Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department and supervise Opticians and sales associates. You will drive store performance, coach staff, and ensure excellent customer service. Sundays off as stores are closed on Sundays.

This role requires strong leadership and retail operations knowledge, with a focus on achieving goals, promotions, and a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for managing teams.
• Ability to analyze, create and understand financial reports.
• Knowledge of store operations and standards for success.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and model it for associates.
• Enforce quality standards and review remakes.
• Communicate with managers and corporate office; provide store reporting.
• Manage promotions, advertising and visual merchandising; inform staff.
