America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to drive sales and operational excellence in our stores. You will oversee the eyeglass department, coach staff, and ensure top customer service while managing promotions and reporting to leadership.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, adherence to policies, and a focus on profitability, with Sundays off in some locations.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Knowledge of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective team management.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and progress monitoring.
• Ability to analyze, create and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve varied problems.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Convey a commitment to outstanding customer service and ensure it in the team.
• Ensure quality standards; review remakes and enforce policies.
• Communicate with the General Manager, District Manager and Corporate Office.
• Ensure promotions, advertising and visual merchandising are in place and known to staff.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts, recruiting and retention.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• Note: duties vary by state licenses where required.
